For the overall skeletal and joint development of the lactating foal. The proper nutritional level for lactating foals provides the basis for strong and healthy development.  The mare’s milk and pasture grass alone are insufficient in providing a complete spectrum of the necessary vitamins and minerals the foal may need.

Liquid feed supplement for horses.

A major part of the foals development of bone density and its central nervous system occurs in the first 6 months of life and can determine its future health and soundness as well as its longevity as a sport or breeding prospect.  Most dramatic are the first 3-4 months of life where an extremely rapid growth spurt takes place.

Any deficiency in minerals, vitamins, and proteins during these first few months can result in insufficient bone density and muscle elasticity which has been proven to be difficult, if not impossible, to regenerate.

Deficient mineral and trace element levels leads to impaired development of the central nervous systems structure as well. This applies particularly to:

  • foals born prematurely
  • foals with defective limb structure
  • foals out of older mares
  • foals with weakly distinct joints
  • foals before growth spurts (for example before 3./4. month of life)
  • foals with growth deficiencies
